Welcome back and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a very enjoyable Christmas break.
It was lovely to see all the children back in school. They have all settled in really well and they are enjoying being back in class.
As you will be aware, things are changing on an almost daily basis with regards to Covid guidelines. Earlier this week I posted a guidance leaflet on Dojo, which has some helpful tips about testing and isolating. Please have a look at this when you get chance. Children who are living with someone who has tested positive can still attend school, but they are asked to take a daily LFT. The leaflet also points you in the direction of places you can order LFT’s from.
We have a lot of exciting plans and events coming up this term and we are looking forward to sharing these with you through the website and Class Dojo. We are still following guidance about inviting parents into school, but we are looking forward to a time when we can do this again in the near future, fingers crossed!
Next week Nursery are hoping to do some junk modelling as part of their topic and they are in desperate need of cardboard tubes and boxes. If anyone has any spare at home please could you bring them into Mrs Cullen on Monday morning – she will be very grateful!
Have a lovely weekend.
