Investigating Stone Age houses

Investigating Sone Age houses

This afternoon Year 3 have enjoyed investigating how Stone Age people may have built their houses.  We all went onto the field to look for natural materials that might have been used by people during the Stone Age.  We then worked as individuals or in pairs to create model Stone Age house.

We had a lot of fun but also discovered some of the problems that they might have encountered.  Ethan and Denver found the ground they were building on was too hard so they changed they moved to a new location.  Dnika and Ava-Lily's teepee was a great idea but difficult to create so they changed their plans.

Well done everyone!
