Today the whole school have dressed up as bees to raise money for the charity to help those affected by the Manchester bombings. The children in Y2 have been so generous and have made such a huge effort for today so well done! There are pictures in the gallery below.

Y2 have been working so hard on our topic this half term of "Communication: Then and now". Children worked in pairs to produce an informative poster about their favourite inventor from the topic. Most children chose Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the world wide web) because they love going online and playing games! Look at the pictures below to see children presenting their poster!

Since Y2 have worked so hard in preparation for their SATS tests, we spent Friday afternoon painting, colouring and watching a film! The children had a great time and thoroughly deserved it. Check out our pictures!

8/2/17 - We have been planting cress and runnerbeans. Have a look at our pictures!

2/2/17 - Today in Y2 we have been learning all about minibeasts and micro-habitats. The children went around the secret garden looking for different minibeasts.

We found worms, ants, snails and woodlice!
