Formby Beach

Formby Beach

Back in September we learnt about seaside holidays now and then.  We really enjoyed finding out about seaside holidays but our favourite part was our trip to Formby Beach.

We had a long coach trip to the beach and we all kept asking "are we nearly there?"

When we got there we walked over the sand dunes and were amazed by our first view of the sea.  We put all of our lunches together while we went on a treasure hunt.  Suddenly we noticed that a very naughty seagull was trying to steal Jake's lunch.  Lucky Miss Bovingdon scared it away.

We found lots of exciting things on the beach and loved making sand castles.  Take a look.
